RIMA LXVIII
I do not know what
I dreamed last night;
the dream must have been unhappy,
because I still felt sad when I awoke.
As I sat up I noticed
my damp pillow,
and when I saw it for the first time
my soul felt a bitter-sweet pleasure.
It is too bad when
a dream makes us weep;
but this sadness makes me happy.
I know that I still have some tears!
