THE DAY

I spoke. We would understand it.
Was the night going to detain your surrender?
Through the window the sea that separates us.
We will be one endlessly.

Now you are with me. How sure,
how distinct is being: in its courage
you reach me. Forever! The powers,
indolent, alien, well-known.

I spoke. We would understand it.
Was the night going to detain your surrender?
Through the net the barren land that separates us?
Naked, absolute, luminous.

That mouth here, close, ours, mine,
ours, yours: if yours, mine, mine:
the fertile: reef of happenings:
that I, through you, am I, all your times.

I spoke. We would understand it.
Was the night going to detain your surrender?
Through the yesterday the beacon that separates us.
In whirlwind, fragile, loving each other.

Now I am with you. Reality,
now you can face the sea:
in view of our efficiency, the sea, with reluctance,
rises towards the sun. You are with me.

Window. Net. The yesterday. What separates us?
We will.
