PASIONO
I came to be born with waves and tornado
of blood-spain fraternal and mine.
I grew up in fear. Now still
I remember the sea that I have inherited.
All my luck has been my sin
greater and noble: melancholy,
next to a profession, that I did not want
and a hundred poems that I have given you.
I had the earth as a companion,
the female for male, and because I dream
I have the humble simplicity of the log
in flames, which gives everything and waits for nothing.
And I love the peace, and the wind, and the chimera
of equal men, and it is my endeavor
the light, the beautiful and haunted light
And I love, as it is, the fucking life.
